A community portal for Bracken Ridge, Brighton, Deagon, Sandgate & Shorncliffe

1.Aus4017 Dot Com

John Wilson has developed www.aus4017.com as a community website portal for theAustralian 4017 Postcode, covering  the Brisbane suburbs of Bracken Ridge, Brighton, Deagon, Sandgate, Shorncliffe and surrounds.

The portal supports the great work that is being done in the local community by so many community organizations and services such as the Sandgate & District Chamber of Commerce, SANDBAG, Rotary, Lions, Vinnies and The Salvos to name just a few. It is intended to provide a further level of support and  an all-encompassing level of service to the 4017 postcode and surrounding areas – a “One-stop-Shop” for the area, which supports existing community services, and also provides additional services such as Local News/Weather/Events, Local Transport Services, Local Classifieds, Auction Room, Chat Room, Events Calendar & more.  John works very closely with these organizations to supplement/support their great work. Most importantly, in the community spirit, community support groups, charities and not-for-profit clubs such as bowls, fishing, rugby league, soccer etc. can have their own web pages FOR FREE, in which they can present their club activities, fixtures, results etc. This is in the interest of providing a proper community service. To avail of this offer, simply register with us and use the Contact Us button to initiate the process. For more information on what not-for-profit clubs contribute to the community visit Queensland Clubs website at: Queensland Clubs.

Over the coming weeks and months you will see this website grow and offer increasingly new community services and features. Please feel  free  to surf the site regularly to keep an eye on progress. Newsflashes will announce new features and services as they become available. We intend to have an official, formal, public launch of the website once we have the core services ready. If you want your event added to the events calendar, you must first be registered with us, then just email the details, with a contact number for verification, via the Contact Us button on the top Menu.

Likewise, if you want to add your details to the online directory, contact John Wilson to discuss.  Let’s get behind this valuable local initiative.
