Major Infrastructure Projects will drive growth in North Brisbane Bayside

Work is underway on the Moreton Bay Rail Link project and is due for completion in 2016. The new line will include stations at Kallangur, Murrumba Downs, Mango Hill, Mango Hill East, Rothwell and Kippa-Ring.

Mango Hill Station Mango HillProperty owners and investors should be aware of infrastructure projects and the suburbs that are most likely to benefit.  These suburbs may well be the next property hotspots!

North Lakes infrastructure, including the recently-opened business park is tipped to employ up to 13,000 people.

Along with Bruce Highway upgrades. Combined with great local employment opportunities and driving distance to Brisbane CBD by road or rail, these and the adjacent suburbs will benefit from all these offerings.

New infrastructure such as the construction of new roads and public transport makes outlying suburbs more desirable to residents, who can spend less time in traffic and more time with the family.  Spin off construction of parks, retail and café precincts can increase demand for housing nearby, as people aspire to live close to where they work and relax.   The more desirable a suburb becomes, the greater the demand for property.   In turn this increased demand leads to growth in property prices.

Remember that Living NEAR a new rail line is desirable.  Living ON a rail line can be disastrous.
